French language - Course on the Riviera

The French language school
Courses will take place at our school "Le Château" in Antibes during Easter (02.04 - 29.04) , Pentecost (21.05 - 10.06) and Autumn (01.10 - 29.10) and in our Summer campus (02.07 - 09.09) next to the beach during July and August.
Depending on the residence where you will be accommodated, you will have between 1 and 20 minutes walk to reach the school.

Most of the time, you will be able to take advantage of one of the morning school shuttle.

We offer French courses adapted to the teenager audience, given by teachers specialized in teaching French to foreign students. They will show you how improving your language skills can be a pleasure.

Standard French courses

20 French lessons x 45 min per week
maximum 15 students per class
Monday to Friday, 8.45 am to 12.00 am

Intensive French courses (as a supplement to the standard course)

6 additional French lessons per week
maximum 6 students per class
Tuesday and Thursday, 1.30 pm to 3.45 pm

DELF Junior NEW!

Available in Antibes only and for a minimum duration of 2 weeks.
Dates : 02.07-15.07 or 16.07-29.07 or 30.07-12.08 or 13.08-26.08

The academic Junior DELF level 1 is equivalent to the A1 and A2 units of the traditional DELF and the Junior DELF level 2 is equivalent to the traditional units A3 and A4.
Each of the two above levels assess 4 basic French language competencies of written understanding, oral understanding, written ability, and oral ability.
They include :
- Group test: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Oral : individual test of 10 to 15 minutes per student.

Maximum 10 students per class.
20 lessons of 45 minutes each per week.
Courses take place Monday to Friday from 8:45 AM to noon

Note
No lessons on bank holidays nor on the Monday of your arrival (lessons not replaced).

The excursion, activity and entertainment program is included in the package.
We offer activities that our experience has shown to be popular amongst young people :

Excursions and activities:

One full day excursion to the Iles de Lérins, to Monaco or to a nautical theme park for example.
Two half days of organized activities off campus or of excursions to discover the most beautiful sites of the region (Nice - Cannes – Marineland dolphin park…)

Afternoons:

Activities of all sorts are organized by our staff (sports tournaments, theme activities, etc...)
Games

Evenings:

One “barbecue evening” or "crêpes party"
One pub gathering** or Disco evening***
Shows
For those who haven’t got any permission to go out alone after 19.30, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday evenings, our tour leaders offer a rich evening program with games and entertainment
